Our Concept

The Vernaro products are living objects which are born from the skillful hand of folk craftsmen, producing unique items through traditional operations, without being computerized or industrialized. The working techniques are those used by our ancestors, ”machines” that work 100% with the help of energy, thinking, human guidance.

The aim of the collaboration with the rural area is to keep the tradition and Romanian customs alive and also to help develop the local economy and community.

Once the design and concept of the collection are established, the execution of the product begins.

HANDSCRAFT

The materials that are used are also 100% natural as the village art masters obtain them through folk ways, without chemical processes. The processing and dyeing of wool is made by using plants, thus achieving a quality product of genuine shades.

FINAL PRODUCT

The piece that is 100% handmade in the rural area is brought to the workshop, where tradition is literally mixed with the present, hence resulting the finished product.
